If you've been here from the beginning you've watched something unfold in real time. You've seen ESSENTFLOW™ go from a framework born out of burnout to something that now has a name for what it always actually was.
This post is me telling you exactly what happened. No fluff. No bluff. Just truth.
Where It Started.
Seventeen years ago a girl who thought too deeply, felt too much, and saw things others couldn't quite see started documenting what it meant to function at a level the rooms around her weren't built to hold.
She didn't call it research then. She called it survival.
She called it trying to figure out why she kept outgrowing everything — jobs, relationships, spaces, versions of herself — only to find the next thing still didn't quite fit either. She was always too much. Too intense. Too driven. Too deep. Too everything for rooms that were built for average.
So she got smaller. And smaller. And smaller still.
Until 2017 when a hit and run accident stopped everything and forced her to sit with the only thing left — herself. And what she found underneath all the shrinking was not someone broken. It was someone who had been carrying seventeen years of lived research about what it actually means to be a high capacity person in a world that keeps asking you to dim down.
That research became ESSENTFLOW™.
What ESSENTFLOW™ Always Was.
If you followed this journey from ESSENCE to FOUNDATION to FLOW you watched a methodology take shape in real time. You watched the framework get built, tested, rebuilt, and refined through every season — the TikTok burnout, the platform deletion, the brand iterations, the sleepless building nights, the breakthroughs that came at 6am with a cold when the kids were asleep.
What you were watching was never just a course being built.
You were watching seventeen years of lived research finally find its language.
ESSENTFLOW™ was never about productivity. It was never about content strategy or creator tools or any of the adjacent things it touched along the way. It was always about one thing — what does it actually take for a high capacity person to stop shrinking and start building a life that was actually designed for who they are?
That question is the whole methodology. Every principle, every KPI, every phase — ESSENCE, FOUNDATION, FLOW — is an answer to that question.
And now that question finally has a movement built around it.
The Arrival.
Too Much for the Room is not a rebrand. It's a revelation.
It's the name of something that was always true — that high capacity people don't have a performance problem, a consistency problem, or a mindset problem. They have a room problem. The rooms they've been placed in — workplaces, relationships, industries, spaces — were never built to hold the depth of what they carry.
And so they shrunk. They performed. They started and stopped. They dimmed down. They took jobs that couldn't contain them. They applied for roles that needed a fraction of their actual capacity. They sat in rooms full of people and went quiet — not because they had nothing to say but because they'd been told too many times that what they brought was too much.
You were never too much. The room was just too small.
And ESSENTFLOW™ by Shae? It's the methodology that builds you a bigger one.
What This Means For You.
Everything you've seen built here — the framework, the phases, the principles, the research — it's all still here. It's all still true. It just has a home now. A movement. A name that finally says what it always meant.
If you're high capacity — if you think deeper than the rooms around you, feel more than your environment can hold, have been told you're too much, too intense, too driven, too everything — you just found your room.
This is where we build differently. This is where your capacity stops being the problem and starts being the strategy. This is where ESSENCE meets FOUNDATION meets FLOW and the whole seventeen year journey finally makes sense.
